Hi all, anyone have input on 6.5 speakers that I can replace the OEM speakers. I'm not looking for a BOOMING sound stereo just looking for a bit louder sound.

Unfortunately, you will also need an amp.

Yep, you will need to get it flashed.

 

There are "packages" available at some of the retailers. Many here do not like them, as they can be pricey, but for simplicity that is what i did. I got a fairing speaker/amp upgrade kit from American Hardbag

 

What kind of bugdet do you have? 500 or 600 will get you a big improvement over the stock stuff. You can also look around the for sale forum here and catch some deals on used equipment.

Theres 2 stinger 700 amps for sale in the sale side right now. Along with an evops. Evox's had some quality issues for a bit...ive had mine for over 2 years now with no issues, but I know notthing about the evops quality. The stinger is a proven good amp for the money.

The mmats 601cx are still good speakers. I's sure there are newer speakers in the same price range or a little more that are good as well.
