Default scored cylinders new 131 crate motor.
I was told this was because of a bad tune? 1200 miles. Engine was not lugged. Dyno tuned by a recommended tuner dont know how to post the tune. .

doubt it was tune, more likely a bad bore finish or oiling issue. could be a poor choice in piston and fit, if the piston has a skirt coating and it is scuffed off, that is a precursor to bore scoring.
never say never but you could have bought it that way.

Did the bike overheat when breaking in? That can cause a similar issue.

131 Harley crate motor. CR-515 cam Dyno tuner by professional tuner who owns a known and recommended shop.
