That means no tachometer I think. Welcome to the HDFORUM.
Carburetors were still around then, so let's start with basics first.
Is it fuel injection?
Going on it's FI and still apply to carburetor model..
Make sure fuel is fresh.
Will it continue to run with throttle held open a tad?
Need some feed back to go on from here.

Typo?
Alphabet helps, since it has enough spark to start, I'll guess it has spark. No guarantee. So I'll go with fuel. How wrecked was it, enough to have concerns mechanically with the engine and related items? How long does it run for, just a sputter, or second or two like it is really running. A backfire could be spark issue.

Normal reset of the bankangle switch (signal/alarm/bank angle/ known as the TSSM) is a key off and on in the upright position. Then that start off and on on the handlebars to off on if you don't normaly use it.
Now if it's dangling loose, thats a different matter.
It needs to be mounted in the correct original orientation and the correct one. Most mount vertical. Seen a Sporty mounted horizontal..
It kills the fuel pump run. Now I guess the ECM timed prime up pressure would still work which could explain it.

That's what my 04 would do sometimes after I dropped it. Part of the tip over safety feature. It would fire up, and immediately die. No flashing lights or such.
Had to do whatever the steps are to reset the top over feature, then the bike would fire up and stay running.
