Default Battery/starter/comp?

So I just noticed since yesterday that when I start my bike there’s a hesitation/ stoppage and then it continues to turn over to start. Before, I’d hit the start button and it would just wind over until it started but now it engages but stops for a very brief moment then continues to turn over until it starts. Only thing I’d done to it was to down load a new tune to it. I just received a new Dynojet Power Vision yesterday and although I don’t think that has anything to do with the issue is it possible?

Since you dont list the bike details my wag is that you did not turn on the ("ACR") automatic compression releases on install of tune. that or battery lost a cell.

Sounds like a weak battery, test that first.

I had basically the same thing on my 06 FLSTC, except this time, it would basically just turn the engine over slightly then just click. I took the battery and had it tested and it was good, so I replaced the ground cable on the battery and now all is well. Hopefully, it will be something simple. Good luck.

Sorry it’s 2014 CVO Ultra limited and the only mods it has is a full system Vance and Hines Power Duals. Still has the original SE 110 Air Cleaner. There wasn’t any lead up to a battery issue but then again a first time is technically a lead up right.

I bought the bike used a few months ago and I have no idea how old the battery is.

Pulled the battery tonight so I can take it to the dealer in the morning to have it load tested. Worst case is just over $300 for a new battery.

In US batteries are a lot cheap, unless you are buying lithium.

I have had good luck with dealer batteries, so I run them. I am sure any name brand is good.
