Default What did your first service cost?

Getting ready to make an appointment for my 1st service and oil change…

I was out with friends tonight making fun of the overpriced first service and the warranty, that I never take…. But fun and laughs aside:

What did you pay for your fist service at the dealer?

$550.00 1,000 mile service. Got bike back and once home notice oil on the garage floor under my bike. Took a look and the bottom was saturated in oil. Contacted my service advisor and he apologized for the mishap and scheduled a time to pick my bike up, correct problem and perform full detail for the inconvenience. Although they are rectifying the problem I will perform my own oil change services in the future!

The 1k was part of the deal and always has been at my dealer. However, with each new bike, I buy the service manual for it and I do my own maintenance. It's not that they don't have good people working for them, it's just that my experience over the decades has taught me that the guy making the payments always puts the most care into the work.
