Default Power Source for LED's

I posted this in the touring section, but I've not gotten a response yet, so I thought I'd try to not get a response here, too.
I have some under tank LED's and a switch, and I 'd like to find an easily accessible power source for the lights.
I have the service manual, but I think I could learn Sanskrit before I could make sense of wiring diagrams.

You can tap one of the running light wires so they only have power when the ignition
is on and you can also control them from their own switch, again, when the ignition is on.
