Welcome to the HDFORUM.

I hope you continue to enjoy your ride here, as much as you enjoy your bike.

Only as a suggestion, by me as a USER, just like you, create a signature line similar to my one line on my bike information.

The year, model, and all the letters Harley assigned to the bike. It will appear at the bottom of your post.

Doing this will be helpful if you ask a question. All Harleys aren't the same with many changes and variations over the year.

Of course, you can always add it to any thread with a question.

You can also add any other details you choose and a favorite picture to the signature lines.

If you like, you can also add a favorite picture for an Avatar you see at the top left of all your posts as a postal

PS…Questions would probably get more comments in the proper area using the dropdown menu under Forums in the menu above.

It’s possible if a Community Team member sees your post, they may move it to a better area.

If they do, only as a suggestion by me, make another new thread back here in the welcome area to say hello and if desired introduce yourself.

Quickly, usually the biggest mistake most new people make is they don't find the no play before the backoff behind the derby cover.

Don't release cable too far and lever it while you find no play. Then do your back off. Lock the adjuster behind derby cover. Then set your cable free play to the minimum.

Welcome from Sydney Australia.

@SFT2012 Not sure what bike you have but maybe raise you clutch question (make sure you include year, model and what you are doing ie how adjusting) in this section of the forum https://www.hdforums.com/forum/prima...ine-clutch-54/
