Default How do you like your ‘24 RG/SG/CVO?

Just curious for those of you who have some time and miles on the new platform - Likes? Dislikes? Things to look out for? Looking to buy one soon, but would like to hear from owners. Looking at anew white RG or even better, a steal on a ‘23 Dark Platinum CVO RG.

The improvement is greater and a lot more surprising than what I experienced during 2009 transition to new chassis…very nimble, barely any felt heat I can ride with shorts on, feels very light, I can do steep cornering on low speed with ease… overall MUST BUY!!

I just hit 2500 miles on the way to work this morning. I bought the bike July 25th, totally spur of the moment. In fact I'd just spent ~$500 replacing the stator and compensator on my 2011 Street Glide two days before. I went to my local dealer on my way home and the Road Glide was sitting right in the middle of the showroom. I told the salesman/owner to go ahead and run numbers with my 2011 as trade and, well.... now I own it. lol

Hard to judge over so few miles, but the difference from the 2011 with the 103 is significant. Almost every aspect of the new bike is superior to the old one - almost because of the limited options (only one that I know of) for lowers. Handling, braking, ride quality, power are all markedly improved.

To summarize - I like it allot!

Only a couple hundred miles on it but so far is has been noticeably superior to my old RGST. I can't think of a single metric where it falls short of the old bikes.

Traded a perfectly good, strong running 2021 RGS in on 07/24/24 for a Whiskey Fire (Chrome) RG. 2000 miles so far. Love it.
