Default Changing my exhaust and air filter

I'm changing the exhaust and air filter on my 2015 iron sportster tomorrow.

Have any of you done it yourselves and could you give me any tips on what to be aware of?

I'm replacing the stock with red slant 2-1 and slant air filter.

Today, I installed the fp3 - which btw seemed to give the machine just a bit more grunt.

Thanks

Don't snap off an exhaust port stud. Be gentle and tighten evenly, and slowly. Buy some anti seize lubricant.

Copper flange nuts are excellent for the exhaust port studs, the copper avoids siezing onto the steel studs.

Copper flange nuts in 5/16-24 thread are difficult to find in the UK, but they should be freely available in the USA.
