07 custom 1200
The bike ran but with a fast idle, started easy. Bike sat for about 1-2months and now it won't even turn over It also seems to have lost neutral light. I have checked the fuses and even put new ones in even though they were good. I'm at a loss as this is my 1st HD after 40yrs on Jap bikes and still have 2 V-MAX and a 1200 Bandit. I have a Clymers manual for my year. Any + all help will be appreciated. It was on a trickle charger the whole time. Battery is good. I have lights and horn and can hear the fuel pump.
Thanks

IDK, I have a 1991, a somewhat different animal. I believe your starter relay is part of the fuse box assembly, not separate and attached to back of the oil tank. As for the indicator lights, consult your FSM or wait for someone with a bike like yours to respond. You can look on Ronnie's HD microfiche and at least get an idea how it all goes together. Good luck.

there is a white wire plugged into the harness under the bike—unplug it and jam a wire into the female plug (harness side) an alligator clip on both ends of a 3 foot length of wire should work. Ground the other end by clamping the alligator clip to your frame and turn on the ignition. If your neutral light comes on you have a bad neutral switch. Remove rear exhaust, sprocket cover and sprocket and replace switch. There are YouTube videos available.

Did you check your starter relay? There may be a couple relays, and some are the same, so you might swap one for another and see what happens. From the wiring diagram, you do have a system relay and a starter relay adjacent to your fuses.
You can use a jumper wire from terminal of the big positive (+) wire on the starter to the (green) wire connection on the solenoid to see if that turns it over. If it does, it's probably the relay, or the handlebar switch. You might have to construct some jumper wires, connectors, and alligator clips, but not hard with a cheap connector kit. Good luck.
