Greetings from CT!
Been around Harleys my entire life, my dad rode since he was a teen, unfortunately lost him 5 years ago after a bad bike wreck.
I have had a couple Sporty's and an 81 FLHP along with my own current projects.
Currently a Paughco rigid with S&S Shovel Engine, STD 4 Speed, 10" Paughco springer
and an 89 Sporty 1200
I've been learning as I go, using the knowledge I learned from him and of course soaking up the info from the gray beards as much as possible.
In addition, I buy and sell Harley parts to help fund my projects. It helps raise the $$ for mine and also allows me to learn hands on about various parts/ bikes both old and new.
Looking forward to all the info on this site!

Welcome to the HDFORUM.
I hope you continue to enjoy your ride here, as much as you enjoy your bikes.
Only as a suggestion, by me as a USER just like you, create a signature line similar to my one line on my bike information.
The year, model, and all the letters Harley assigned to the bike. It will appear at the bottom of your post.
Doing this will be helpful if you ask a question. All Harleys aren't the same with many changes and variations over the years.
Of course, you can add it to any thread with a question.
You can also add any other details you choose and a favorite picture to the signature lines.
If you like, you can also add another favorite picture for an Avatar you see at the top left of all your posts as a postage stamp.
