If you insist on repairing what you have drill and retap what you have to taper pipe , find the correct needed adapter and return to good to go . I would not use a brass fitting , all steel or stainless for me . Just my opinion and 2 cents . I had to do this to add late rear brakes to my 75

Think this one is a Thunderheart, with a front adapter, bolt pattern the same as yours
