Default Fat front tire help.

Have a stock 2010 Softail heritage classic. I've been day dreaming about running a wide (5.5 180) front wheel. Preferable 21" rim although I understand this would require being setup for a 23" standard width. Which means more extreme modifications. But I think I could be satisfied with an 18" rim. But my problem is that I'm having a problem pinning down what all I need since no one seems to offer a definitive kit. And I've seen everything from conversion trees that convert your front end to a touring model front end. Then I'd assume you buy a wide tire kit made for a touring model? Does anyone have any other recommendations, or even better a completed front fatty on a heritage or similar Softail?

I don’t know if they ever offered an actual kit, but a few years ago, Native Custom Baggers (who are famous for their fat tire kits for baggers) was wanting to do softails as well. They sent me these pics probably 3-4 yrs ago. Worth a call to ask them. I think they used touring fork sliders instead of the softail sliders. Good luck and keep us posted! I’ve wanted to do the same for my Fatboy.
