Default FXLRS dash rattle

I will try to make this a short easy read.
2021 lowrider s with 900 miles has a terrible rattle on the dash under a certain RPM before shifting between 1-2-3.
i have tightened the dash bib. even removed it to check the gauges tightness in the bib.
check the tank bolts. its like the dash bib is rattling but its tight.
my question is anyone with a lowrider s have dash rattle as a common issue? if so id like to know the census.
its not wheel bearing/wheel,neck related. its like a plastic thing bolted on somewhere.
rather annoying.

Hmmm, is the gasket there or pinched? Check and see if the bracket is intact and make sure the clips are secure there isn’t a whole lot to wiggle and jiggle underneath….

Mine had a fuel cap and clutch lever that rattled. Have you checked those?

Yep. I didn't realise mine was doing it until I forgot my ear plugs one day. It wasn't so much a rattle as a buzz that kicked in at a certain frequency, usually in the lower gears at higher revs when you're not going fast enough for the wind noise to drown it out. I was grabbing levers, clocks, fairing etc trying to find it when my arm landed on the fuel cap and it stopped.
I cured the problem by not forgetting my ear plugs again. A louder exhaust works too.

these did rattle, however fixed now i still have the dash bib issue. with 900 miles on the bike you think it will show its face soon.
snugged all bolt the tank bolts also.

im going to remove it and the guages and go for a ride later today to see if its the culprit.

I had a rattle in the same rpm-shifting scenario you mention. It turned out to be a loose
baffle in my exhaust.

Turns it irs the bib/gauges.
removed, no rattle. Installed back on, rattles again.
bolts are right. Perhaps try silicone under it?
