Default Killing the motor in Accessory mode?

On my previous Road Glides I was able to turn the engine off by using the switch on the steering neck and leaving it in accessory mode.

Is there a way to cut our 2024 bikes off without totally exiting the bikes audio system?

Thanks in advance!

I just edited my post to reflect that I have a '24 Road Glide. There is no switch on the steering neck...just the start/kill switch. Using that will shut down the bike including the audio system. I'm trying to shut down the bike and still have the infotainment systrem powered on.

Well Alrighty then. I will try that later today. Thanks! I picked up my bike Tuesday and I'm loving it. From a performance standpoint it's an absolute beast!

Hold the accessory button down while turning bike off then back to on and then release the accessory button.

If the hold assist cable is installed (which I have on my bike because it is a CVO - but the cable is available to purchase), all you have to do is put the kickstand down while in gear.

Won't that leave the ignition and lights powered when all he wants is the infotainment center to stay on and not have to re-boot?

That's a really sharp bike.

The 'stand down' and the 'accessory button/shutdown trick' (as in Brandon's video) both leave the bike with the ignition on and all the lights powered. You wouldn't do either if you wanted to use the infotainment for an extended time after shutting down the motor.

Because the IFCU boot time can take over a minute sometimes, the shutdown tricks are handy when making brief stops. Like when getting gas.
