Default exhaust advice after installing headpipe

I've recently installed the Jackpot header in my quest for reducing some of the felt rider heat from my bike. So far so good, but I've got to say, I'm not enjoying the sound of my bike as much as I did when I just had the the Reinhart slip-ons with the factory head pipe. Besides being a bit louder, I just find it to be a bit more "poppy" or "raspy" now which isnt as pleasant when you're rolling down the interstate at 75. If it were louder but deeper, it would probably be a bit more tolerable. I also find that I get a fair amount more of decel popping now, which I thought maybe the tune would help with.

Would something like the fuel moto exhaust tuners help with any of my problems? I know I could go to a quiet baffle, but I'm not sure if that would help that much from the reviews I've watched. I'm just not wanting to go out and spend another several hundred dollars, so I'll likely just have to live with it, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Do you have the power cone in your Jack Pot header ? It is easy to take it out and give it a try that way .Just slip muffler off take out the screw and remove the cone.
Decel pop can also be exhaust leak.

Most would agree that you need a tune with that exhaust. I would discuss your options with Fuel Moto.

Our Twin Cam head pipe does not have the removable insert as our M8 pipe with the larger 2.5" right outlet. If you are looking to take some of the edge off the sound (and also increase torque a bit) I would recommend our FM lollipop baffle inserts. You can find them here >> https://www.fuelmotousa.com/i-23900033 or there is also specs on that page if you want to fabricate some yourself
