Last April, 2024 I was involved in a very low speed rear end collision at a country stop sign. Not my fault but I understood clearly how it happened. Other partie's insurance picked up the tab - over $4000 worth of parts on the rear of my 2014 HD. I ordered the parts through the HD dealer's service shop and took them home, expecting to make an appointment later for installation. While at home I checked my HD Factory service manual and found it covered how to remove and install every single damaged piece, so I followed the manual and did the replacements myself. I understand new manuals now cost about $165. By using the manual I pocketed the $1100 labor estimate.....but yeah, Clymer is probably cheaper. LOL!

It's astonishing how much easier it is to use a simple book VS a digital copy. Next I'd like to get it spine clipped and put in a 3 ring binder as many here have done. It's hard to cut up a pristine manual that will never be printed again though - at least it is for me.
