Ofcourse many dont think the extended warranties are worth it. I do.

Im wondering if anyone bought the ESP extended warranty and had to use it. Im specifically interested in how the process went when a repair was needed. Time to determine break down coverage, time money was paid to the shop doing the repair .. that kind of thing.

Just got the title for my 24 Street Glide. I did buy it with a life time limited warranty but thats "limited". Its time to get complete coverage. Im trying to decide on the ESP or just go for the Harley extended.

I did on previous Dyna I had glad I did . The compensator basically exploded took out the whole primary . Several thousand dollars worth of damage the dealer ended up giving me another Dyna . They allowed what I paid on the Dyna I had on the new one . If I hadn't had a warranty it would have been bad .

I bought the Harley extended 7 year in 2017 for my new 2018 SGS that I had the stage 3 107-114 installed in at the time of purchase. HD replaced the motor at 42k in 2022 at a cost of about $10K but my cost was $50. Then in Mar this year they replaced the compensator at 55,000 miles. Once again $50. Have had 2 friends go with the Discount ESP instead of the HD once their original HD warranty ran out. Seems to be quite a difference in out of pocket cost for repairs with the DESP. I believe both wish they had spent the extra for the HD warranty.
