Hello, looking to buy a fork brace (SuperBrace) for my 2008 Sportster xl1200r (Roadster) and I am trying to figure out what the differences are between, for example, 5183-01 and 5183-06 (indicated for my bike on SuperBrace Website)? Will all 5183 superbraces work for my bike? Thank you.

 

I think they are all the same? I am also looking for one 😬

 

I asked the owner of Superbrace, Scott Edwards, via email today if 5183-01 is the same as 5183-06. It was difficult getting a straight answer. Supposedly each 5183 model is different due to differences in fender heights. Didn't know sportsters vary that much in fender heights lol.

We should do a group buy! Who else wants a superbrace!?

 

I didn't realize there was a difference in fender height either. The 19 inch front wheel should be the same fender height as a 21 inch front wheel due to the sidewall of the 19 inch tire being taller. Or at least that's what I thought.
