so it's almost done. i had to take a break because it's riding season & i just want to ride the bike...lol
blacked out both sides of the engine last month.

if i love the bike and decide to keep it after the summer, i'll probably black out the fork. & i already have a new set of 16" x 1 1/4" black apes sitting in my garage.

i didnt black out the pegs or mid controls yet because i'm going to see if i can get used to the mids position before i change them out for forwards...
i rode yesterday for a couple of hundred miles, still getting used to them lol

i had the seat custom made by "mothers road customs" using the original sat pan. i also have a new CC motorcycles fastback seat i have to put on and try...i'll do update's on the new seat when i get a chance...

Really nice mods so far @Scotty Softail is that a road king headlight? Looks killer with a bigger headlight upfront and it's giving me ideas lol

 

Which exhaust is this? Bike looks nice.

 

stock chrome softail slim pipes, and stock slim gas tank. i powder coated the pipes flat black..

 

i dont know if this is a specific road king headlight. but it is an OEM harley headlight

 

So the handlebars are comfortable, i'm riding 35 years now, on all different style harley's..that being said, i'm used to drag bars, or 16" apes. so these bars are a little too comfortable, like stock road king bars. lol

i'll see how i like the mid controls,i have always had floorboards or foward controls. after the summer and putting some miles on the bike i'll figure out if i want to keep them, or switch out for fowards.. i ride way too relaxed, comfortable and laid back on the bike now. i dont feel mean and cool, if anyone understands what i mean by that... lol

 

I like the look of the stock tapered pipes...
I just ordered a pair of American Custom pipes for my Heritage to swap with my obnoxious Neighbor Haters mufflers...
goog classic look and nice rumble...

 

i'm learning to get used to & like the sound of my stock pipes...ive always had straight pipes...
i'm getting old....
