Question fx 1978 rear rotor center in galiper

Hi on a stock 1978 is the rear rotor center in the galiper ?
mine is offset
thanks

Wheel spacers are Not exactly one size fits all..I always space the wheel for sprocket, and then Caliper.. caliper at the Caliper mount!!

On my 1978FXE, the caliper is in the same position as the one in your picture.

The first gen calipers are just disc brakes , that’s about all one can say

A single piston caliper is often a bit offset as the fixed pad doesn't move.

Excellent Point that!! On that type brake caliper...tho on Floating pin mounts..centered is Good!

I think it might just look like that due to the angle that the picture was taken. It looks like the right side edge of the rotor is in line with the line of the caliper where the 2 halves bolt together.

Looks like the wrong spacer, too long.
