Looking for a new helmet for my RG

I have been debating moving on from my RF1200 as it is past the suggested age for a helmet; I say suggested because I always felt that that was more an encouragement to buy a new one than for any safety issue.
I have considered both the RF1200 and Neotec 3. I really like the idea of a modular helmet but was always worried about safety and I am not all that sure it really saves me much as I usually take off my helmet at stops more for a break from wearing and allowing my scalp to cool and dry off.
My concern with the RF is I need to buy a new transitions visor as they 1200 and 1400 do not use the same parts which means another two hundred on the price of the helmet so that had me consider the Neotec which has the integrated sun visor.
The wings on the Road Glide do a great job of allowing me to redirect air to my chest and in turn up towards the helmet and I have yet to feel hot on the bike while rolling with my current RF1200 and sitting behind a ten inch windscreen.

I’ve been using a SCHUBERTH C4 Pro, Shoei Neotec 2, and Shoei RF1400. The RF1400 is mainly used for multi-day trips. All equipped with Sena.
Had been waiting for the Neo 3 to become available. Upon its release, I took a look to check it out. I ended up replacing my 5 year old Neo 2 with another Neo 2. The new Neo 3 was not worth the price when the 2 was available at a deep discount.

It's got to fit YOUR head.
Doesn't matter how wonderful helmet X is, if it doesn't fit your noggen, it's going to be awful for you.
So go visit dealerships and shops, start dropping things on your head, and take notes about what feels good, and what doesn't.
Do take the notes, because you'll soon get confused if you don't.

I like HJC helmets. I wear ear plugs so noise isn’t a major point of concern when I shop for helmets. My 7 year old HJC saved me when I slammed my head on the ground at 60 mph. I got a new one and the fit and finish are even better.

My Cardo PackTalk Edge sticky mount fits perfectly on the side of the helmet where the HJC Sena unit is supposed to mount.
