The Twin Cities, Minnesota is a big Harley region - very similar to Milwaukee IMO, but 3 times bigger (Wisconsin my home state).

I can't find anybody to recommend a good Harley Dyno Tuner for M8 engines in Minnesota. I'm not riding to Fuel Moto in Appleton, so please respond only if you know a master tuner around here. I'm not gonna list some from a google search - doesn't mean anything.

Would appreciate your help if you know.

You might them on the phone and ask. If he won’t do it then he can recommend someone.

Almost forgot I met this guy who was set up with a trailer in Arkansas at a rally. I didn’t need to have him tune anything, but did chat with him for a while and made 3 pulls for something to do. Friendly and seems to me to know what he’s doing

 

Doug Lofgren( FKA Ugly Dougly) has been tuning for decades. Currently working at Hamel Power, 763-478-3206. Their address is 3566 Pinto Dr, Hamel, MN 55340. Just a few minutes northwest of Minneapolis, off of 55.

 

Its only a 4 hour ride to the undisputed M8 experts, Fuel Moto - probably a nice ride too. If it were me, I'd do that but everyone's different I guess.

I found a years-past thread were Steve Cole suggested Those Dyno Guys in Zimmerman, MN using a bunch of TTS-175 cams, alas they're gone.

They would have been just a little west of me. I think the pandemic crash put a bunch of people out of business. Dr. Mudspringer closed too. Been in Twin Cities a long, long time.
