Default handgrips getting my hands black

I've tried various applications on my Kury. handgrips, but soon my hands are black again. Any ideas? Thank you!

Who wants to wear gloves when the weather is mild. The price I paid for them makes it even worse. Friction tape; that's it! Wrap the frikin' grips with tape!

I like the more secure "feel" of wearing gloves on a bike. Have you tried fingerless/weight lifting gloves in warm weather?

I would worry about friction tape getting gooey and slippery when hot.

Get some tennis racket grip tape.

Amazon or Dick's Sporting Goods

Amazon even has pink if that is the color you desire...........

Amazon Amazon

Friction tape will get sticky in hot weather.

Would pink grips go with a dragonfly green bike? I suppose I could try and remount the original grips: hate to loose some chrome bling though.

It's what they do. I've been using the ISO grips for over 20 years on 3 different bikes and always have the same black marks after riding, mainly on the inside of my thumbs, from them.

How about binning the rubber grips and installing a pair of knurled black anodised aluminium grips, they are a bit cold in winter, but they warm up in the summer, they are available on fleaBay at about $25 to $30 a pair.

Over time does the anodized black color wear off?

Suppose its the sweaty palms/fingers that causes the black marks.
We know that sweaty palms are caused by tension, which causes the heart to beat faster. Doing battle on the highways can be tense indeed! Ability to reach escape velocity in an instant is a must!
Sorry, I can't answer your question as I didn't keep mine installed long enough to find out if the black anodising wears off, the reason I removed them was due to the fact that we never get any hot weather up in the hills where I live, so the grips were always stone cold. I gave them to a local guy who builds Sportster custom choppers to show, so the cold grips wouldn't affect him as he wasn't riding the chopper that he installed them on.
