Bike was running perfect. Stop at light and started to die. When given throttle it started coughing and backfiring. I limped it to house going about 5 mph. Any suggestions of what the problem might be.

 

Start by checking for stored codes.

 

My 04 had issue with the tank liner flaking off and plugging the fuel valve inlet screen (carb bike).

 

P1353 popped up. After that it read PN 32915-2915-015-05

 

P1353- Front cylinder combustion trouble.
1. Faulty Spark Plug: Inspect ignition coil and spark plug wire 2. Plug gap/Loose plug tip: Tighten the wires 3. Bad wiring on the injectors: Check and or Replace the injector 4. Faulty crank position sensor: Check and or Replace the crank sensor.
