Default Alarm

My alarm keeps going off. Replaced key fob battery and rode yesterday without issue.
Went to move my bike this morning with fob in pocket and alarm keeps going off. Tried to enter security code, but starts going off again before I can finish input. Any ideas why this is happening?

If the battery is good and the FOB is working, one thing that might be causing problems is electromagnetic interference. As per the Owner's manual on Page 55 the FOB shouldn't be within 3 inches of an electronic device like a cell phone.

It could be that the FOB is faulty, or the antenna under the seat isn't routed correctly. You'll need to drop by the dealer so they can check it.

When entering the PIN, the bike has to be absolutely still. Don't be sitting on it when you tap in the PIN to disarm the system.

Edit, just noticed you have a a 2014.. The owner's manual I was referring to was for the 2024..

Do you have a second FOB? Are you sure the battery is good? A friend just had a problem with a keyboard he bought a brand new battery and I was no good.

Replaced batteries in both fobs. Tested with multi meter and new batteries were at 3.3v.
Will call dealer tomorrow (closed on Monday) May be a bad security antenna.

Might want to post this in the appropriate section. 2014-2023 touring, or even the generic touring section.

where you posted it is for 2024+ bikes. They have different security systems.
