Default Clutch lever feels strange.

I have noticed on my 2024 Street Glide that the clutch lever seems klunky, It doesn't operate smooth. I can feel the down shift when I drop a couple gears while stopping. none of my other bikes did that. I don't know if it is the way it operated, being a 24 and M8.

Should I be concerned about it, getting into a stealer to get it fixed.

Thanks
tim

There are several posts on this. Mine does it also, some say their notchiness goes away after some miles.
I am at 1,000 and it hasn’t got better or worse. I did mention it to my dealer at my 1,000 service.

It’s a Harley thing, at least a Harley cable clutch thing. My 24 Street Glide does it and 2 Road Kings before that did too. My Indian Chief does not…

My 21 trike does it. It’s like a grinding feel, like it’s catching on something.

Perhaps it’s in the ball and ramp assembly.

Initially, I experienced the same feeling with my clutch lever when shifting. It was very noticeable. It went away sometime between 500 and the 1,000 mile service. I had forgotten about it until I see posts like this one pop up.

Thanks for the info. I'll just keep and eye on it.

Have you tried cable lube? Made a huge difference in mine.
