Default Frozen caliper bolt

The 12 pt caliper bolts are frozen on my 2003 heritage softail (thank you to the local Houston shop that changed my front tire). I've tried Pb blaster overnight. I've tried heating it up with a torch (heated for 2 minutes) and it will not budge. The bolt now is, of corse, stripped now and I'm using vise grips. I'm really afraid of using an easy-out, thinking it will break off inside the bolt, then I'm really ****ed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Weld a nut over the stripped bolt and get it while it' hot. Keep hitting with some kind of creeping oil in the mean time.

Wish I had a welder. May invest in a harbor freight one.

Your there I'm not so this might be worth considering.
Drill off the head of the bolt it may release enough pressure to help with getting the rest of it out or off.
After doing this it will be best to have the caliper outta the way, that may require removing the front wheel.
So the disc is outta the way and aid in removing the caliper.

Been there , done it

That's the plan right now. If I leave the caliper attached/bolted on, can I remove the wheel? Another plan is to remove the wheel, fix the flat, drive to someone that has a welder, weld a nut on the end, then remove/replace the bolts.

Typically a wheel can be removed without caliper removal.

+1 for this plan to fix the flat then let a "pro" remove the bolt.

Good luck.

That'll work.
If the bike has a single disc it will be much easier to reinstall the wheel.
Because of the pads. Getting the rotor to slide back in between the pads while installing the wheel can be troublesome.
While the wheel is off try to get the pads and caliper pistons pushed back all the way. Open them up.

Sounds like a good plan WP
