Single Cable throttle assembly
Current assembly
my single cable throttle assembly friction adjuster stripped. I ordered a new one but the male attachment end of my throrrle cable was to large for the assembly. And recomendation as to where to order an assembly that will accept a larger cable thread?

no hill for a stepper, just make one
i assume it has a carb with a return spring as federal dot regs require it. ever had a single cable hang at full throttle that did not have that safety feature, been there done that, they did not even has bar kill switches back them but thankfully they did put the key switch up high on the riser.
where are you located? perhaps i can help, just sent me a PM.

I'm looking to replace my current assembly with a new one that has a friction control **** as shown. That will work with my larger cable assembly.

I always ran the HD throttle assemblys and found to be well made. That said i always ran a single cable on my S&S carbs . Even on my newer bikes. The old Linkert carbs were single cable also.
Never a problem, but i have seen some stick on old dirt bikes in my youth. FUN,FUN, FUN Watched a pal get dragged threw a bon fire once with the throttle stuck wide open. Laughed and we handed he a new beer.
Makes for good memoires.
