Wink Cheap easy turn signals, 76 flh with 72 tins

I am about 2 weeks away from having this thing ready to roll. Virginia inspection requires turn signals on anything after 73. I wired turn signals. However I do not want to run them.
I am going to take it to inspection and tell them that it did not come with turn signals (I did this on a 71 sporty). If I am lucky that will be the end of it.. If they fail me I will need turn signals.

Does any body know of turn signals that are quick and easy to remove, and install that are on the cheap side?

You want the ones they put on the FX and Sporty that clamp on to the handle bars. Wire them up, clamp them on, then take the right off again. My brother did that in 1997. He went through the trouble of making a quick steel plate that bolted to the license plate for the rears, took it off when he go home after passing inspection.

All of that said, in NYS 1986 and older do not need turn signals if they were not equipped with them originally. I know that is a debatable statement, but overall 1985 and down they leave you alone. Good luck.

Aliexpress do 8-dollar flashers that bolt under your mirrors...I have them on my Shovel and they are great, mostly because they are so tiny that if you don't wanna use them, then you can leave them on as you hardly notice them. see the pic and you will see what I mean.
