Default New Heads and Cam...

I sent a set a heads up to Hillside and am going with stage 4.. I always felt like the bike wasn't breathing well at top end.. So we'll see what the new cylinder heads do.. 1.80" ports, 2.02 intake and 1.63" exhaust.. I'm also upgrading to a T-man 660-2 cam and I changed my intake to 1.80" to match the ports in the new heads.. I was running an HPI 1.730 runner intake.

It's been about 4,000 miles since I did my last upgrade from 103"er to a 110"er with the Woods 888 cams.. When I first did my upgrade to the Woods Tw5-6 I did measure my opinion shaft run out and had .0055" and always said I would check it over to winter.. I also upgraded to the S&S cam plate and oil pump.. I've pqut about 10,000 miles on the bike without any change at all in pinion shaft Run-out..

I know a lot of people say that the stock cranks don't hold up to power but in this last measurement I took there was no change in opinion shaft run out.. I do run my bike pretty hard that's why I build it.. My best time in the quarter mile was 11:37..
Wheelies, hole shots and just riding hard and no change in the run-out.. I'm very happy to see that.. I was contemplating an S&S crank before I took my readings but don't think I need to replace.. A very happy surprise.. Here's a video of the run out..
Just waiting for the heads and cams so I can reassemble..

You're going to kick yourself for not doing this part long ago. You will be very pleased with the results.
