Default Saddlebag Lid Covers for speakers

What does everyone use when on a trip to cover your saddlebag lids when parked if it's raining? (if equipped with lid speakers) I see some on Amazon, but many people say they are not waterproof. Just want something to put over the lids while parked for the night or if raining while parked to prevent any water from getting past my speakers. They may be sealed good, but why test it? This is my first bike with speakers in the lids. (I installed them)

I purchased a set of lids from Amazon with the speaker cut outs and grills for a friend amd they came with rain covers.

Default Will the speaker lid covers prevent scratching?

Will those Amazon saddlebag speaker lid covers scratch the paint at all? I’m going on a long trip and my dry bag touches the top of the lid so I’m hoping to cover the lids with those covers to prevent the bag from scratching the lids. Do u think these will help?

Any cover flapping in the wind with mar the paint. The OP's question, and the suggested covers (which I have) are for keeping the rain out out when parked, nothing more.

Lid speakers aside, just put 3M clear on the lids. I did it to mine years ago because I oft times drag my foot across the tops.

they won't help if you have speakers in the lids
