Default Any reviews of this device for wireless Carplay?

Folks, I've seen Cplay2Air, for $120, this one is on sale for $59. Curious if anyone can provide a review?

CPlay2Air here, works great, gotta do the occaisional reboot tho. I've tried a few others before finally biting the bullet and buying the more expensive CPlay. Night and day difference in reliability. Sad thing is they all appeared to use the same software! <shrug>

No, you'll need a different adapter such as AA Wireless

I have the CarPlay2Air Unit's, one on my Harley and the other one in our Jeep. Both of them work great.

Can't speak to the OP linked adapter, only the cplay2air unit, which I have on my 20RGL. Can't say it's flawless, once in a while it takes a nap and I have to disconnect and reconnect and all is well. Not a huge deal but when travelling and your using the maps, kind of a pain to either do while rolling down the road or pull over to reboot (the adapter) so to speak. Otherwise it's worked good.

@cactusred Have you updated the firmware on the device?

I got it about 6 weeks ago, and checked the ip addy they have on the box for the system settings and firmware said it was up to date, so I guess yeah.

Haven't watched this video (I'm on Zoom calls most of today), but would probably make sense to be sure it's up to date.

I stuck with the brand @ CPLAY2air.com so no help there with your question. I did not update it thinking it might brake. mostly smooth and fast. On a long trip I might just plug directly if im that worried about it gliching a little but so far thats been minimal
