Default Best Exhaust for 2022 FXLRS

I recently purchased a 2022 Lowrider S, I’m wondering which 2 into 1 exhaust would be best for the Lowrider S. I’ve heard that TBR causes a power dip. I want something that sounds deep and throaty but performance based as well. If anyone has experience with good exhaust that will work with the 2022 Lowrider S I would love to here the advice and see some pics of the pipes on your bikes. Thanks in advance!

Thunderheader X Series - haven’t got a tune yet but at least it doesn’t sound like a sewing machine at idle. Awesome bike - love the grey.

It depends on what tuner you are going to use. If you are going to use an HD tuner you better stick with slip on mufflers. A full 2into1 system will require a lot different map. Provided you care about how the bike runs. I bought S&S slip on mufflers since that's what Fuel Moto recommended.

probably gonna have to break warranty - next steps are 22xe cam, s&s cam chest plate, s&s oil pump, pushrods, lifters, tappet cuffs and a powervision and see where that lands me on a dyno chart and then call it a day. I think dollars to TQ/HP that should get best returns?

Definitely best bang for the buck. Stage1 doesn't do much. Add a cam and it really comes alive.

Gawl Dang!!! I love Low Rider S's!!! On my 2020, I run the S&S Superstreet 2-1 50 state legal. I was not impressed with the sound until I threw in a cam and now I love the sound. It's not too much but just right to my ears. I always have felt it performed very well so and looks great...

the 22xE sounds amazing with my Bassani road rage, I bet it will sound even better with the 117 and thunder header! I would put a 1000 miles on that bad boy and then *** the warranty. That’s what I did! Get rid of the plastic intake and tappet cuffs, and do the comp ramp and aim clutch spring’s. And most importantly the power vision with fuel moto tune!

Maybe a stupid question, but why would you sink cash into most of that stuff?

The HD cam plate works fine, the HD oil pump works fine. OK - I can see replacing the pushrods and lifters when you change the cam - as well as putting a full complement bearing in there - but why the cam plate, oil pump and tappet cuffs? That just seems to be over $1000 that doesn't really need to be done unless you are drag racing. And none of that stuff makes power.

Nice pipes those look good. Does the bike ride well with those on?
