I just went out and looked on my shovelhead, I couldn't find the one on it either.

You might look through the parts diagrams from Ronnie's. It should show all parts. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel.asp?Type=12&make=hdmc&a=1001&vehicleid=2 014-Harley-Davidson-Street-Bike-FLHTK-ELECTRA-GLIDE-ULTRA-LIMITED-[KE]

Thanks Pig!!

Temperature Sensor replaced!! Took about 45 minutes (learning curve) so hopefully this will fix my overheating problem. Fans were not turning on and sensor was cheapest part in the equation ($25)...next would be thermostat ($75) and then the pump ($400), but the pump SEEMS to be running when I do the manual Self Operation Test.

If the radiators are hot & the fans are not running the sensor could be the problem. If the radiators are cool & the bike is overheating you have a circulation problem. Pump or Thermostat. My fans never come on unless I'm stuck in traffic. Make sure the radiators are clean externally.

Good thought...will check the radiators next ride and see if they are hot or cold.

Default Help

Ok, sounds like you guys are pretty knowledgeable about this, so here is what I have:
Got the same P 1019 code or whatever it is, CEL and HI TEMP light. Put bike on lift and let it get warm and both fans kick on and the light never comes on. It did dribble about 1 oz of coolant out the overflow tube. Jump on and ride and at 5 miles both lights come on again. I also cleared the code before testing it. Any suggestions??? I was going to start with the cheapest part. Before i forget, I did the manual test with the throttle and fans come on and pump vibrates so i guess pump is on.

Thanks

With all the ribbing I get about the V-Rod and water cooling, this setup looks positively Rube Goldbergian. I guess the words "radiator" and "fan" are verboten in V-Twin land.

O the diagram shown the Temp switch is that same as the ECT Sensor. My bike showing a P2185 code. ECT Sensor high. I just replaced the water pump with the new upgraded version. Powder Keg HD in Mason Ohio say they can no longer get the original water pump.
They new pump is like 600 dollars with the ne hoses and hardware. You need take the lowers off and re route the hoses to the radiators and to the new pump. The new pump has sensor built into it and does away with the thermostat. I got it back together and showing a P2185 code. I ran bike ck temp. then rode bike for awhile the engine and head temp good. No signs of leakage or over heating. I'm thinking the ECT sensor bad. Anyone have any info for me I'd surely appreciate it.
