Default Rider weight Softail standard and Road King .

Looking to buy a Harley in this month or so . Its down to a Softail Standard or a Road King . I weight in at 240 and wifey is handy on 210 . Not sure how much time she is going to spend on it but i will like to be able to take her along sometimes around town or on the highway . Either bike will be 96 ci . Will the factory shocks cut it or will i need to go aftermarket and even with aftermarket will i be wasting my time ? Thanks any input .

Going from a 2017 Ultra to a Softail or Road King? Do you ever quit?

Well he supposedly just picked up his new 2018 Street Bob yesterday. Must be bored with it already.

There sure does seem to be a whole lot of contradiction in his posts, doesn't it.

I'm thinking this guy has a bad case of MPD (multiple personality disorder) which means each personality is purchasing a new bike or whatever. It's either that or he's just plain stupid.

Factory shocks should work for you guys. I got by two up on a sportster. I weigh 105 soaking wet and my squeeze bounced around 365. Had a time keeping rear tires on it.

By the looks of things, I think you're a pound or two over the GVWR.

He’s just ten sit-ups away from a six pack.
