Eavning guys. Transmission worked flawlessly! Smooth as a Civic can be. She just needs to last one more year.

Yeah, yeah.....sounds a little gay (NTTAWWT). But I gotta tell you, pretty damn delicious. Basically shaker full of ice, 6 glugs of Vodka, 2 glugs of Saki, a splash of Coconut water, shake, pour in martini glass, toss in a slice of cucumber, enjoy. Very strong and not for the feint of heart. I'll be happy to put on a demonstration for W18.
That sounds yummy. Haven't had good saki yet. Tried a few.

I pulled a '72 Toyota 4 spd trans for a rumbling bearing, and when I split the case, it was a 5 speed, not even offered that year, but the 5th gear was missing. Found out they didn't even have a 4 spd, just left the gear out for the American market. I decided screw the bearing and got a 5 spd from a junkyard, and got a big boost in gas mileage. Went from a buzzy 70 mph cruise to a smooth 80. Weird, all for marketing, Toyota didn't think introducing a 5 to America's 4 on the floor folks would sell. They were wrong, think they went 5 in '74 and it was popular.

My tailshaft bearing went out. It ate three of the ***** in the bearing.

Not very well but it gets 40 mpg and cost me $2000. I need a bigger car. Moving up to a TDI.
