Not a single patch on my coat, All on my vest...

 

All my patches are on my vest as well, never had them on my jacket.

 

I'm not for or against patches, I have one (1) on my jacket. It's the logo of my daughter's technology company. That said, I have never exposed any of my leathers to rain. That's why they make rainsuits.

 

Well to answer a few of the previous posts.

1. All the Harley jackets have patches and stitching all over them. What would be any different rain/wind wise?

2. I'm not talking Mc patches, rockers or anything like that. I'm talking making it look like a Harley jacket without Harley cost.

3. A Fox Creek jacket costs less than a Harley Jacket. Does Harley do something different with all their stitching and patches? I could have, IMO, a higher quality jacket than a Harley jacket but with similar patches.

4. I don;t wear a vest either.

 

all my jackets have the md flag on the right shoulder and usa flag on the left. no vest with flair for me

 

My $0.02 is why would you want a jacket with HD logos all over it?

I'd rather have a high quality jacket with no logo on it. The bike already says HD - and they don't pay me to advertise.

That said, I do have an HD FXRG jacket - but that just has a small "FXRG" badge on the chest and "Harley Davidson" on the back in reflective material. That jacket is waterproof because it has a removable inner waterproof liner.

I also have a new Langlitz jacket in the mail to me right now. That will never have a patch sewn on it.

All my patches are on a vest that I wear over the jacket when I ride with my club. When I ride alone I don't wear the vest.

 

So I guess no one on here buys a Harley leather jacket. Interesting I see so many people wearing them.

 

I rub the jacket with mink oil every now and then so I've never even considered the amount of rain or air that would possibly get in. Sheesh, the things people worry about these days.

 

Here's mine. I never have had a leaking problem.

 

don't see the big deal, and oh, on a Fox Creek no less. I'd have someone airbrush the back if I could ever decide on what I wanted back there.
