Photo needed. But, I would guess remove heat shields and loosen all exhaust connectors. Maybe you will get enough "wiggle" to get it off. And if the axle bolt needs to come out, you'll probably need to remove mufflers, at least.

Use your own discretion...if there's enough room, then no need to remove exhaust

I put them on my other bike too but dont want to spend 40$ and.d play with w exhaust removal or thinkering for long time.

i just put set of swing arm coverrs for these nuts and it took 5 min

Get one of your buddies to sit on the bike ... the weight should make the exhaust go down a little as the swing arm goes up ...

i have them on my fatboy front and back no problem no need to take the slip on mufflers off
