Hi everyone

I am looking for aux light for my 2014 Slim PN 68000026 Instruction mention these will stay on only while passing light is on, well I want them to stayon all the time.

How to modify wireing to achieve that? Anyone?

Harley already makes a plug-in kit for that.

Will that fit for the kit I bought? Doesnt list FLS model in deacription. I am not so familiar with electrical things (mechanics are my thing). I feel I will need some electrician to help me out here as these schematics are bit much for me.

The kit says it fits all FL Softails with the aux lighting kit.

Not having a full schematic in front of me, but I would say connect the power side (3) of toggle switch (2) to the MAIN headlight source.

If you change them to all LED's you can connect them to your signal running lights.

i plan to keep them stock at least for now as I dont ride that much at night but like the look of 3 lights. I like suggestion to try to connect to wire for main light source as this make sense and should be easy fix here. Which terminal will that be?

Should get my kit soon and i will be happy to report back

I have just bought the Independent Control Auxiliary Lamp Wire Harness. I can find the connector block 38B (which connects O/W, W, Y and BK wires). According to the instructions there should be a connector 32A -> 32B. All I have to do is to disconnect the 32A/B connector and join the Harness to the original 32A and 32B. My problem is that I can't find the 32A/B connector. I have followed the wire from the headlamp to the 38B connector and there is no other connector block.
This is the Independent Control Auxiliary Lamp Wire Harness I have purchased from Harley:

The connector should have the BK and O/W wires only.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Aidan

It's rather simple, on that wiring diagram simply connect both #3 wires together taking the switch ( #2 ) out of the loop and just leave the switch in place to fill the hole in case you want to go back later.

I should have been more specific! I have a Softail (FLSTC), made in 2012. This is the wiring diagram for my Softail:

According to the instructions that came with the Independent Control Auxiliary Lamp Wire Harness, there should be a connector 32A -> 32B (inside the orange circle). All I have to do is to disconnect the 32A/B connector and join the Harness to the original 32A and 32B. My problem is that I can't find the 32A/B connector. I have followed the wire from the headlamp to the 38B connector(inside the red circle) and there is no other connector block apart from the connector which connects the passing lights (GY/BK wires [73A] seen just above the red circle).

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Aidan
