For regular 2014 Slim with floorboards 110 model is correct. I run into fit issues after I installed forward controls. Here are pix. Picture of mount with a bell is my current set up. Other picture is OEM setup on Slim.

 

wow. ok... I'm going to respectfully disagree with more than a few previous statements.

I've been running the H-D Lindby Style bars on my 2000 FLSTC for many years and I love it. I'm 5'6" and an LBK (left below knee) amputee so the built in foot rest works just fine for me. Infact, even with the floorboard my carbon fiber foot rests much more comfortably and more securely on the rubber foot pad, on the bar.

I've totaled and rebuilt my bike and I wouldn't have been able to without that bar protecting the frame. A trusted indy shop gave it high praise when I had the bike frame inspected prior to the rebuild. The only bend to that frame was on the left, rear fender strut and the bike went *** over tea-kettle at 70 mph, off the road. Looks to me like it had more strength to it than most would think.

Laid the bike down on in a roadside ditch, downhill in deep sand during a bone-head turn around maneuver after a summer drought. After many tries, I finally had to get help to lift it back up against the incline, in the shifting sand. Only damage to the bike was some sand scratched paint on the bottom side of the bag, after rocking it up and down trying to lift it back up on my own, at least 6, maybe 10 times.






I ain't braggin' about my misadventures here... I'm just saying, it's a damn good bar to have and I'll keep one around for years to come.

 

I like mine but honestly I picked the style more for appearance as I do not like the full round or oval bars. I have used the foot pads on occasion but find them a bit to high on foot placement. I have planned on adding some highway pegs but have not got to it. On the model I have the foot rests are just glued on and I may remove them after I add highway pegs.

 

Woow BikerPepe that blew my mind. I really feel you are one lucky man to be still around. These pictures spoke for itself. Terrifying. At least these prove crash bars works but this is last thing on my mind now looking at your post. Since I have only liability insurance I think I will bite the bullet and will at least buy Engine Guard as my insurance. You did outstanding job restoring this bike. Big thanks for all replies please keep it coming.

If anyone knows where I can get the deal on this Lindby it will be great as these are damn expensive.

As far as style I am thorn between classic Lindby and mustache style type now. If I could see some pix from the side to see how close these bars sit next to the frame that will be awesome

I just took a Lindby bar off of a used bike I bought last week. It takes about ten minutes to remove. Seems like installation would be similar time. Not a big deal at all.

 

I rather would like to see more angles of softails or better yet slims with this engine guard as I expect instalation to be one beer job kinda thing.
