First, I admire the dedication involved in maintaining a running log, especially online. The records I keep mirror the recommended maintenance schedule, so I'm not victimized by middle age memory.

Finally, and as others have already shared, your air box mods were well done. Congrats on the new scoot - there's 14k on my '17 Road King and no regrets. These are some nice machines.

Thanks, brother! I agree, these bikes are just so much better than anything I've owned previously. I can't stay off the damn thing.

Fantastic work.... and I love your details in the video. I wish I could have you create one for me.

Personally, I'm leaning toward putting on an S&S Stealth Air Cleaner Kit with Airstream Cover - Chrome.... but it might have to wait until next Spring since it's getting closer to Winter, and up here in MN you have to watch for Winter and expect it a lot earlier than most locations. I can still get in a few nice Fall color rides.

Just watched this video, and thanks for the detailed instructions. I might give this a try on my UL in Spring, thanks strych9!!!

Thanks! Glad I could help to inspire. I did add a new touch this weekend. I like the look of the 2018 air cleaner emblem, so I replaced mine with it. It looks good against the chrome.

Excellent in all respects. I am wondering about improving the flow of the already superior Softail 114 M8 filter. Any ideas? Good job Rick.

If I were going to mod an OEM '18 softail housing, I would cut out the circle in the center and screen it. I would then cut out the "114" part of the emblem and put it on the screen. Kinda like this (mesh would be much finer):
