The left twist grip cable was gone. I had to reach down to the right of the engine, unhook a little chain, and then twist it with my hand, start it, twist it back, and hook up the little chain again.

And all y'all are misspelling "old skool."

Back in my day our bikes didn't even have a kick starter. We had to push-start the bike up a big hill. Kickers were for the new soft generation. We didn't have any need for those pansy *** brakes neither. We ground to a halt with our bare feet like men.
We knew how to fix the bike with nothing but straw, toenail clippings and a stick.

With the "quality" of the current wheel bearings, it only takes a few thousand to, literally, ride the wheels off...

^^^^ It always makes me laugh when people say, "stop with the labels, stop with the labels" and then they do this.

To me, being old school is a state of mind wherein one understands, appreciates, and respects what it took to get us where we are today.
