Thanks for the kind wishes, But it simply ain't going to happen. My riding days are over, along with many other things I've enjoyed doing all my life.

I'm truly sorry to hear your riding days are behind you; we're all going to face that reality one day.

Giving your beautiful ride to a good person is an incredible gesture of generosity. I'm a firm believer in paying it forward; you looked around, found a brother who needed it, and passed it on. You kept the chain moving forward.

While your post is deeply saddening, that your days in the wind are over, your response to your situation is an amazing example of keeping the chain moving forward. My best wishes for you and your health...

Giving to my friend gave me a great feeling. The only thing that made me happier is when he told me he going to pay it forward by giving his Honda to a friend of his that could not afford to buy a bike. He is keeping the chain moving too! When he told me that, I cried like a baby - tears of joy!

Just back in after a great 244 mile day ride; I took one of my favorite loops that hits all the sweet big sweepers north of here and it was my first chance to really push the bike since adding the solid top stabilizer and the CCE fork brace.

Wednesday mid-day, traffic is zero, and I hope the LE presence is the same My boot heels have always been my curb feelers, I knew when the heels touch the pegs are next; since going to +2" over Wide Glide tubes which raised the front and altered trail the bike has not felt planted enough to really tip her in enough to touch my heels down, there were just enough mid-corner corrections I didn't push her all the way over. Until today.

I was carrying more corner speed, my heels would touch down with ease, the bike was firm and planted and followed her line with no hints of pushing in the sweepers, I just focused on looking through the turn, throttle roll on, and body position; I got out on to bits of the Night Dragons I've not been able to touch before. This Wide Glide feels like she's on rails now. I'm glad I waited to add the solid stabilizer and the fork brace for a time after I did the +2" over tubes; I can really appreciate how much stability they've brought to the bike.

Hey, HD! You can keep your nasty new Softails; the Dyna rules, and the Wide Glide is the king of the Dyna's. I love this bike

Remember with the taller tubes you also have more lean angle or should!
