The Street Bobs first time on the lift -all the way up! I climbed up on the bike from the right side, sat on the bike a little, then climbed down off the bike on the left side. I can roll the lift with the bike on it. I'm going to trust it and leave the bike up on the lift while I sleep.

I barely managed to get the bearings out of the new (used) hub. Damn near pulled the threads off off the wedge part of the tool. Had to use a vise and wrench to get the nut back OFF. It's ruined. Pit Posse brand. I think the steel is a bit too soft. Although, the bearing did gall the aluminum on the out (or in?)...
I think I found the practical strength limit of my shoulder implants, too. They started to feel...odd...strained... So I rigged it up on the floor and used my legs to break it free. What a faf. Oh well, it's ready for polishing now. Maybe tomorrow. I'm gonna take some Tylenol and rest for now.

Had a long talk with her and assured her that we will be o.k even if Harley did give up on the dyna line.

I have a 14 V-Strom 1000 next to my Fat Bob; they get along famously!
The Strom is a fantastic bike, you are going to love it. It does everything well.

Vent the AC. Now just have to figure out how I want to run the lines and a filter on it. Rode into work today with it open like this. bike ran 20 Deg cooler. but I could smell it in the parking garage. out in the open it was fine.

Put Progressive 412 rear shocks on my 07 FXD. Wow...what a difference from OEM! Went out for a 70 mile ride yesterday which only reinforced that I need to upgrade my front suspension now!
