Installed the upper triple tree and headlight bucket using Todd's recessed headlight mount. I had to cut the stock headlight mount bolt. It was too long for Todd's mount.

I took the battery out of the bike and put it on the charger. I ran over the charger with my truck a couple of years ago. Still works.

Not sold on the laminar lip yet. Last night it felt like I was being hit in the head 4 times a second for an hour. This morning I messed with the height of my fairing but that made no difference, will play with the angle a bit to see if that helps.

Please excuse the dirt. Work in progress.
Oh, I also cut off the coil mounting tab.
Thank you, I did the same and flipped the cable! Cool idea about cutting the coil mount, maybe I do that too when the winter comes.

I now have one more problem. I am moving the coil to under the seat. I have new long coil cables, but does anyone know how to extend this cable? If it is possible I would like to just plug in an extension. It seems like some sort of 3 pin contact but I could not find the right male/female contact at my local store.

Imagine if you saved all the money you are spending, due to your recovery time, how much gas money you wold have to ride and ride and ride and ride..... But I do understand the why and wherefores of your need to still be a part of your Harley. It does enhance healing, I'm sure.

Oh, what model Kawasaki have you been sneaking rides on lately??? tp dd50

Working on the bike(s) has been a godsend for me. The first thing I had to do was get glasses. I couldnt see details at all. I love working on bikes-as much as I do riding them, at least.

When I get this bike back on the road, I plan to log some serious miles on it.

The Kawasaki I sneak rides on is a 2002 ZR1200R. It will purr or rip your arms out of the sockets, your choice, LoL! I have owned it since it was practically brand new.

I attached the handlebars and installed the headlight. I can start wiring it all back up soon.

Edit: screwed the fork tubes to a couple wall studs, hopefully this will help while filling the fork tubes with fluid, and maybe strong enough of a hold to hold them while installing the caps. Maybe...I kinda doubt it though.

Can you show pictures of your bikes cvaria? I'm just curious what the beauties look like.
