Did my good deed for the day. Bumped into a couple guys returning home on their Harley's from the UP of Michigan (in nowheresville, mi. Spelled Mancelona ).They were from Kalamazoo Mi., that's another four hours south. One of them had the shaft for his heel/toe shifter break, lost the levers. There was enough of the shaft remaining that a pair of six inch Vise Grips , with the curved jaws, would have worked for a temporary fix. It just so happens I had a pair on my phone truck. Clamped them on and he was good to go !
I know, now that I thinking about it, I should have snapped a picture
