What did you do to your Dyna today?

Just got the Wide Glide back from my independent - replaced just about everything inside the primary case with upgraded aftermarket parts to rid the '06 of the typical '06 OEM issues in there, including a new Baker IPB. Also had some apes put on - need a new pic for my sig...

Is the stock seat but reworked by a guy here in Spain that specializes in making motorcycle seats, usually uses the stock seat base and puts latex and gel, you can customize the colors, letters or logos.

After over a 1000 miles riding in the U.P. and another 2200 mile trip in the back of the truck up there and back with numerous rain storms, it needs a bath BAD!!!! Too freaking hot outside to even think about doing it.

I'll let you know as soon as I take the bike for a ride. I have to put the front end back together for that, and lose some weight.

Went ahead and for better view of my dash I did, roughly a 2-1/4" lift.
Screwed up the paint in the process but learned that I do in fact prefer the lift on the front of my fuel tank and plan to purchase a better structured and manufactured kit in the near future.

Look like the grips I'm retiring. They held up really well but I had to be choosy with my gloves. Some just didn't grip the leather inserts very well. Made throttle control on the highway a pain.

I like the other grips more(tried and tested) so I'll put those on.
Trying to think of something to do. Clean some bolt threads, polish things. Dig out\ find my 4 x 4'' wood pieces I use for placing wheel on for tire removal. I also have a 5 gallon plastic bucket that I can bolt to the ramp of the shop. So, rounding up tools and supplies today. I have a feeling I'll be unloading the metal storage shed.
Edit: I found the 4 x 4 blocks,...and I only had to unload 1/4 of the shed to get to them.
Not much today. I need to go back out and dig into the storage shed for something to break the bead with. 4 AM is probably not a great time to do that. I removed the front brake disc (for cleaning plus I have a chrome bolt set for it). I removed the old wheel weights. Removed the tire/inner tube valve. I received Todd's recessed headlight mount in the mail. You can see the night dragons I will be installing on the bike.
I'm currently undecided on putting twisted spokes on the front wheel. Hassle and money, but now is the time to do it.
My Mickey Mouse bead breaker setup, but it seems to be getting the job done easily.
Whew! That was not fun!
