Can you do me a favor? I'm curious how deep the top race seats down inside the top of the neck. On my conversion, the top dust shield doesn't cover the bearing and the adjuster nut seems TOO visible. I love a couple close pictures of this area. Thanks!

I'm considering making a custom dust shield and adjuster...

Its getting polished aluminum triple trees, new handlebars(can be seen a little further back in this thread), having front wheel re-laced with twisted spokes, new Night Dragon Tire, progressive springs, maybe chrome lower fork tubes.

Is this what you are looking for? Sorry, I can't access macro mode at the moment.

Another great day ride today; a 158 mile ride to nowhere, just enjoying the road, the bike, the wind, and the sky.

Coming back in to mountain town west on M20 I slowly started catching a convoy of 4x4's; 6 Jeeps and 2 Chevy trucks, each sporting a 3' x 5' Old Glory flag Slowly passed them, they were running 60 MPH or so in the right lane in staggered formation, I'm in the left lane at 62 MPH in 5th gear. They're covered in mud and dirt; they were out having some fun, too.

I give them the thumbs up as I'm passing, and it's thumbs up from everyone in the vehicles, ladies hanging out rear windows whooping it up; a pretty little blond decided her t-shirt was just too warm and lifted it up to 'cool' down. It was a good day.

God, how I love this Country. We know how to have fun.

Got busted yesterday getting the bike out of the garage for a ride; the Lady was taking pictures in the garden and grabbed one of me on the Wide Glide. If you ever wondered what the fool behind the posts looks like, there you go

What, no picture of the girl and her T-shirt? Yep, you're no youngster, but few of us really are. Still like your ride, for sure... tp dd50

Yah, I have wondered what the person looked like from behind the posts, thanks, now we know. Glad my lady does not take pictures of me. My dealer told me last week that his customer demographics are the oldest in NA. I guess I fit in nicely.

Like your wide glide, clean. Got a Jagg low mount oil cooler and taking your advice, upgrading hoses and clamps before install.
