That's with no shims I believe, but will have to double check. It's out now and not going back in. I replaced my inner primary case too, so that is a fresh bearing.

Never heard any whirring or whining from the primary and it ran smooth when it was in. Just didn't expect so much wear.

 

Hayden requires inspection every 20k or so, its in the install pdf.

The Baker Attitude Adjuster-looks like the HD adjuster from the pre-06 bikes that we had to manually adjust (unless I missed something).

I received my Baker Armored Attitude Adjuster yesterday and set about the install. The instructions were clear and well written. Since I also replaced my compensator with a solid sprocket, I had to do a few extra steps, but nothing major.

The Baker piece is well made and seems to be great quality. The outer bracket fits great and should provide extra support for the whole assembly.

I'll be closing up the primary today once I grab some fresh Formula+ from the local dealer. Hope to have a test ride in as well tonight.

 

How do you like the Aim clutch? What are you using for friction discs with it? I'm thinking of getting one myself.

 

I've got a Fuel Moto/AIM Stage III clutch - I believe it's all Barnett (at least the spring is Barnett).

So far I have limited mileage on it. Once this project is complete, I'll be on the road with this bike a lot more and will be able to provide better feedback.

But, I can feel that the spring is a little stiffer than stock, but not unbearably so. The weights on the spring retainer help reduce the pull effort nicely.

It is what is it though - my engine is putting out 154ft/lb tq & 148hp, so the beefy clutch is necessary!

 

That is going to be fun to ride!!
